COUNSELLING & SUPERVISION
IN BATH
Supervision
I have been in private practice for 15 years and qualified as a supervisor with CSTD in 2022.
I offer supervision to both qualified and trainee counsellors, using Peter Hawkins’ Seven-Eyed Model as the foundation for the work. This model applies different lenses to explore the conscious and unconscious relationships between the client, the therapist, and wider systemic influences.
In my experience, this approach supports deeper insight and awareness of the less visible dynamics present in the room.

My aims in supervision include:
-
Supporting work with trauma and vicarious trauma
-
Exploring conditional and habitual responses in both therapist and client
-
Identifying obstacles when work feels stuck, to encourage movement and change
-
Encouraging fresh perspectives and new insights
-
Supporting challenges arising from parallel processes
-
Celebrating successes and strengths in the work
